Well, weather in Colorado is nothing if not changeable. It is summer one minute and winter the next! One thing though, no matter what the weather is doing, it is always beautiful. Right now we are in the middle of autumn, the leaves are changing, the air is crisp. Though some days I could swear it is summer, temps in the 80’s and others it is surely winter, we have had some snow flurries already! Still no matter what the season, the views – be they of mountains, with golden aspen leaves quaking, or the wide open spaces, or perhaps the Rio Grande sparkling in the sunlight, or star lit night skies – it is always amazing! The animal life is abundant and varied. From Prairie Dogs to majestic elk, there is something for everyone.
As you can see from the pictures there are so many things to see and do, you can never be bored in Colorado! You might want to ski, snow board or snow shoe in the winter, while in spring, summer, and fall, you can mountain climb, bike, camp, or go fishing. Usually the sun is shining, the sky is blue and it just begs you to get out doors. However there are lots of inside things to do as well, especially in places like Colorado Springs and Denver.
Coco loves walking by our neighborhood lake or trips to Garden of the God’s or Red Rock Canyon. We have plans to take her up to eleven mile reservoir in the mountains this fall – that should be fun! So no matter where you find your land know that it’s an opportunity to try out many things, from ATV’s to building your own cabin. The choice is yours!
